Invoicing

Project invoicing should be completed on a monthly or milestone basis. Check your contract to figure out which one. If you’re unsure, its best to invoice monthly. Its good practice to attach an Invoice Breakdown for transparency on progress.

Markup a draft invoice with the relevant information, it can be helpful to use old invoices for the same client as a base. Here’s an example markup:

Send the completed markup and breakdown off to the Project Admin team to generate the invoice in the Invoicing Portal for you. You will be prompted to review and approve the draft invoice. Typically the Project Admin team can issue the invoice to your client but make sure to communicate that to avoid invoices going unissued.
